Description

A Pulley is often referred to as a sheave or drum and can have a groove around its circumference between the two flanges. A rope, wire, belt, or chain may be the drive element of a Pulley system; it runs within the groove over the Pulley. Two or more Pulleys common to a Belt describe a Belt and Pulley system. This facilitates the transfer of mechanical power , torque, and speed through the axles. A mechanical advantage is understood when the pulleys have different diameters. Custom-built large pulleys in solid or split construction for higher Power Transmission
