Jaw Coupling

A jaw coupling is a type of power transmission coupling for general purposes that can also be used in applications of motion control (servo). It is designed to transmit torque (by connecting two shafts) while damping device vibrations and accommodating misalignment, which protects other components from damage. Jaw couplings consist of three components: two metallic hubs and an element called an elastomer insert, but widely referred to as a “spider.” Jaw coupling torque is transmitted through the elastomer lobes in compression.

Pillow Block Bearing

These bearings are mounted into various shapes of pressed steel or grey cast iron housing, i.e. for heavier loads than pressed steel housing, Plumer blocks or flanged type-cast housing are appropriate. Deep groove ball bearings with an expanded inner ring and spherical outer ring are these bearings.
Via two threaded grub screws, these bearings are fastened on the shaft, other alternative tightening versions are also available such as eccentric self-locking collars, adapter covers, etc. or interference fit on the shaft. They are used where simplicity of design and assembly is needed in agricultural machinery, conveyor systems, construction machinery, etc. They are used to support the shaft with a tolerance of usually loose fir. In addition, broad clearance helps to compensate for misalignment & shaft deflection.
These bearings need no maintenance and are usually greased with the base grease of lithium soap. Such bearings will eliminate up to +5 degrees of static misalignment from the centre position. The speeds are kept low with rough shafts & loose fits. Relatively higher speeds can be achieved with tighter fits and more specifically machined shafts.

Deep Grove Ball Bearing

These ball bearings consist of a deep groove or single row radial, being one of the most flexible among the category of bearings. There are ball bearings that are used extensively. The bearings have close osculation with the balls using an uninterrupted raceway; this allows the bearing to handle radial loads and axial loads in both directions.
Such bearings have a low cost of maintenance and a compact design. They can not be isolated and, being very robust in operation, are ideal for high speed rotations.

Spherical Roller Bearing

A rolling-element bearing is the Spherical Roller Bearing. With low friction and angular misalignment, this bearing facilitates rotation. A revolving shaft in the bore of the inner ring is protected by this bearing, but can get misaligned with respect to the outer ring. The misalignment could be either of the outer ring’s spherical internal shape or the spherical rollers.

Adapter Sleeve

Using either an Adapter Sleeve assembly or a Withdrawal Sleeve, a roller bearing with a tapered bore is mounted on a straight shaft. In the axial placement of the bearing on the shaft, mounting a bearing on a sleeve also provides maximum flexibility and can handle light positional thrust loads.

SN Series Plummer blocks are suitable for grease lubrication.
SN 500 Series housings for 1200CK, 2200CK,22200CK, 23200CK, Ball and Roller Bearings with shaft dia.varying from 20mm to 140mm. These have two attachments holes and two connecting holes between base and cap.
